The Lacon Arms is owned and operated by Louis, Lyndon & Lorna Bevan of Bevans of Hemsby Ltd, and is a FREEHOUSE. It is a sister pub to MB’s Leisure Bar and Funhouse which are also FreeHouses. The Lacon Arms sits at the end of Beach Road, Hemsby, practically on the beach! Just a short walk away to enjoy the sea views as you walk off the fantastic traditional homemade food you have just devoured.
How to find The Lacon Arms
Situated in the Norfolk seaside town of Hemsby, just a few miles up the coast from Great Yarmouth. Heading down Beach Road you will pass the amusements, attractions and activities available within Hemsby. At the end of Beach Road, you will be offered the option of turning left to head to Hemsby Beach or turning right and finding the family friendly pub that is The Lacon Arms.

Food Fit For a King
The Lacon Arms restaurant is well known and loved, offering a range of light bites, main meals and desserts there is something on their menu for everyone. Catering to dietary requirements, their friendly staff are able to help assist with options whether you are gluten-free, vegetarian or vegan. The Lacon Arms menu includes a children’s menu offering two different-sized meals depending on your child’s age and appetite as well as a delicious dessert menu – if you have the room available after enjoying one of the generous-sized portions of traditional homemade food.
Dining Area
One of the fantastic things about a visit to The Lacon Arms is the various areas available for great food with family and friends. The conservatory offers a light and bright area with a selection of different-sized tables no matter how many you have joining you for dinner. The bar area offers a more intimate dining experience on traditional beer tables for couples and smaller parties to enjoy a drink or meal together. It is also home to the salad bar which is included with a main meal. For larger parties, hot buffet and fantastic carvery then step into the LA Lounge for an open plan dining area.

Front Terrace
Situated outside the front of The Lacon Arms is the front terrace and sunny beer garden, housing a range of wooden tables for patrons to enjoy a drink and light snack in the open air. Four-legged friends are not forgotten with water bowls provided for dogs to enjoy a drink whilst their owners relax on the front terrace of the pub.
Spacious Beer Garden

Pirate Boat Play Area
To the rear of the Lacon Arms is an outside play area for the children to enjoy and burn off some energy. A wooden play area includes a big curly slide, hidey holes, rope climbing ladders, a rock wall and a small slide. Situated within viewing distance of the friendly beer garden it allows the children the freedom to play whilst adults can supervise and enjoy their own conversations.
LA Lounge
The extensive venue is home to private parties, regular live entertainment and a fantastic carvery. The large open-plan area offers a great atmosphere for anyone attending whether you are enjoying Sunday lunch or there for a party.
